PHOTOGRAPHY
slowly and tenderly hand-developed black and white photography
ritual and delayed gratification used to be products of necessity, whereas now they have to be sought out or clung on to in order to find some relief from the incessant hyper-efficient button-pushing now-ness of today
if some kind of journey or struggle breaks my heart with all its rewarding richness, then maybe it’s a beautiful thing to plant the seed of memory on film, to be dug up and harvested months later, and to continue nourishing me with its sensual monochromatic approximations
